Steamed bun, originally called steamed bun, also known as long cake, is said to have been invented by Zhuge Liang and separated from steamed bun in the rear of the Qing Dynasty . It is a staple food with a strong sense of satiating. It is a traditional Chinese food and an indispensable food in people's life.
The term "baozi" first appeared in the Song Dynasty, before which it was mainly known as "steamed bun".  It was invented by Zhuge Liang when he was recruiting Meng Wei. The shape was human head. Later, with the development and evolution of history, it was gradually changed into poultry meat filling. But the Chinese history of eating steamed buns dates back at least to the Warring States Period, when they were called "steamed cakes". Three Kingdoms, steamed bread has its own formal name, that "man head", the Ming Dynasty Lang Ying in the "seven revision draft" record: "the original name of steamed bread man head, Zhuge Meng, life to bread meat as a sacrifice, that 'man head', this error and for steamed bread also." [3] After the name "baozi" appeared in the Song Dynasty, the name "steamed bun" has been maintained in parallel. It was not until the Qing Dynasty that the appellations of "baozi" and "steamed bun" gradually diverged. And the Wu-speaking areas and other places still retain the ancient name, the filling called "steamed bread", such as "fried steamed bread", "crab steamed bread" and so on
