Lotus leaf cake is a characteristic traditional pasta in Chengde City, Hebei province. The cake is as thin as paper, soft and white. It is elastic to chew. When eating, it is rolled with scallion and sauce. Fried chicken or shredded roast duck wrapped in lotus leaf cake is also served at the feast, supplemented with sweet soy sauce and scallions.
