According to the market operation monitoring system of the Ministry of Commerce, from April 10 to 16, the market prices of edible agricultural products across the country decreased by 0.8% compared to the previous week (month-on-month, the same below).

Edible agricultural products market: wholesale prices of grain and oil were basically stable, including rice and flour, which were unchanged from the previous week, soybean oil increased by 0.1%, canola oil, peanut oil decreased by 0.1%. The average wholesale price of 30 kinds of vegetables was 5.16 yuan per kg, down 1.3 percent, with cauliflower, lettuce and rape down 9.0 percent, 8.0 percent and 6.4 percent, respectively. The average wholesale prices of six kinds of fruits rose slightly, among which grapes, bananas and apples rose 2.4 percent, 1.1 percent and 1.0 percent respectively. The wholesale price of meat declined on the whole, with pork at 19.55 yuan per kilogram, down by 2.0 percent, beef and mutton down by 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively. Wholesale prices of poultry products were stable, with eggs unchanged from the previous week and chicken up 0.7 percent. The average wholesale price of aquatic products rose slightly, among which hairtail and grass carp rose by 2.4% and 0.3% respectively.
